- Frustrations! -

Recently, we have a new type of entertainment news called politics. More interesting than the previous ones. Oh well, I better not comment too much. Because I'm afraid to end up like the Sin Chew reporter and Teresa Kok who got locked up. So friends, be careful.

So, that was the time when Cheng Mun interviewed Pei Ling and me about our frustrations about co-curricular activities.

That's it. No matter how many times I write about co-curriculum in essays, I always write about good things because I want to gain marks in the exams. Good things as in betraying my own thoughts to give heaven-like descriptions about co-curriculum. Like beneficial to health and learn something out of classes and so on. Yeah, we need the attendance for the 10 marks for the overall admission to the local universities. So what? I ended up not attending the activities after a few boring meetings at the start.

Is the 10 marks really necessary to be included in the admission marks?

Let's take Jing Leong as an example. He attends badminton tranings twice or even thrice weekly at badminton training centers. LET SAY he joins badminton club in school and never attend the meetings due to a few factors like
-there are no standard sized courts
-there are not enough courts
-unfavourable condition during windy or rainy weathers at outdoor courts
-students need to take turns to play due to the size or the courts ( or maybe just a hall)
-there are more experienced coaches at the training centers
-and at last, it is not worth staying back, changing tuition timetables and arranging transports just to play in a club of soooo many people at a smaaaal place

So, if he get low marks for co-curriculum, can we simply conclude that he is inactive in sports?

Next, about the bonus marks. I'm not sure whether the AJK's should feel happy or not when they got promoted to a higher post. Because the AJK bonus points are 6, and the normal prefect have bonus points of 7. Perhaps being a normal prefect is better, at least happier, with less responsibility and frustrations about the subordinates. And hell yeah, sometimes AJKs really feel that they are slaves. Keeping the mess for the subordinates, and get scolded the most. And the school is such a dedicated and caring institution for pampering those who work as air particles.

So, if the 'air particles' and 'slaves' get the same bonus mark, can we deduce that they are working at the same abilities?

Very rarely I heard of anyone who says "I'm happy and would like to join the co-curricular activities". Instead, I always heard "I have to attend the meetings to get attendance for the co-curriculum marks".

Right, I really need to attend co-curricular activities for attendance next year.
